Little Glenn has been acting pretty good today. He has been eating more, so he is sleeping more as well. That makes mommy and daddy happier.
Been a real scorcher today, heat indexes way over 100. only went out today to cook on the grill and pick up a few minor things at the drug store.

As a running log of the evening, here is how it is going:
11:40 Tiff is feeding Glenn. My turn is up next. I fed Bobo.
2:15.A.M. Baby poop everywhere! Woke up to Tiff and Gleen screaming. Glenn was having a super poop, which is still lingering in the air. My eyes are still burning from the smell. This was the first time he has made me gag. In the middle of this episode, he decided to urinate on his own tummy and mom’s hand. His bowels seem to only empty once a day, between 2:00 and 4:00 A.M. My god, the smell is still here. I have post traumatic poop disorder right now. Tiff is feeding him right now, so he can poop some more.

4:45A.M.  Even more poop this time, if that is possible.  Why does he store it all up?  The smell is as incredible as always.

6:05 A.M.  Another, manageable poop this time.  This time he urinated while I was changing the diaper.  Wow, babies have a lot of fluid inside.

Baby Glenn is doing well.  He is already over his birthweight.  He is 7lbs, 10oz right now.

He was very good at the Doctor’s, didn’t fuss much at all.

In less cheery news, the situation in Isreal is looking pretty grim right now.  Lebanon is a close ally with Iran, so who knows where this is going to go.  Iraq has had a terrible upswing in violence as well.  I know the neoconservatives had a vision of the middle east, but I don’t think this was it.

It was a little surreal back at work today. I missed seeing little Glenn, but I also missed doing adult type things. I like my job, so it is not torture going back to work. Glenn was cute when I got home. He seems lie in wait until I am done cooking dinner, then he wakes up. It worked out ok, Tiff ate first, then I ate after feeding him. He seems to be eating more, and I can tell he is growing pretty well. His face is already changing shape. I think he is looking more and more like his Mommy. I am really looking forward to him being more person like and less eating-pooping machine.

I love him no matter what. There really is nothing in the world to prepare you for a baby. Time to get some sleep while he is sleeping. I am sure he will be up part of the night.

Baby is doing well.  Tiffany is sleeping right now.  I have to head back to work tomorrow 🙁

My sleep schedule is all messed up right now, so I am trying to get back into some sort of regular arrangement.  It is a good thing he is so cute, or this would not be all worth it.
