Trump lies…again

Trump just did a speech on banning Muslims from entering the country…again.   Something just did not seem right to me in his examples, so here is my research:

13 were murdered, and 38 wounded, in the assault on Ft. Hood.

Major Nidal Malik Hasan was born in the United States.

The Boston Marathon Bombing wounded and maimed 264 people, and ultimately left five dead – including 2 police officers.

The brothers were born in Kyrgyzstan and came to the United States legally and were young children when they entered.  They were also US Citizens.

In Chattanooga, Tennessee, five unarmed marines were shot and killed at a military recruiting center.

The shooter was born in Kuwait, a US ally, came to the US when he was SIX.  Also a US Citizen.

Last December, 14 innocent Americans were gunned down at an office party in San Bernardino, another 22 were injured.

The main shooter was born in the United States, the wife was born in Pakistan.

In June, 49 Americans were executed at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, and another 53 were injured. It was the worst mass shooting in our history, and the worst attack on the LGTBQ community in our history.

The lone shooter was…surprise(!) born in the United States.

See a pattern here?  After this Trump cites random attacks, around the world, not on American soil.  Trump attempts to make the case if we keep these ‘undesirables’ out, these attacks could of been prevented.  Did you see a pattern above?  That’s right, this draconian policy may of prevented…none of the attacks.  These examples seem to make a better case for gun control than new immigration policy.  You be the judge.

Contrast

If you really want to see a contrast in the two presidential candidates, check out their websites, particularly the issues section:

Mrs. Clinton’s:

https://www.hillaryclinton.com/issues/

And Mr. Trump’s:

https://www.donaldjtrump.com/positions

https://www.donaldjtrump.com/issues/

Clinton’s is a single page with 37 easily sorted sub-pages.  All text, all well organized and professional, with notes and references and videos, only when applicable.

Trump has positions AND issues.  Why are they split?  His positions page only has 6 topics, all poorly formed.  No footnotes or references.

The ‘positions’ page is 21 videos.  Both pages are very vague with no specifics.  The videos are pretty fact free, with no notes or references are almost all negative or defending against previous attacks, with no less than two defences of Trump University.

The overall look of the sites is a real study in contrasts.  Clinton’s is very modern and you can tell it is very professionally done.  Trump’s looks outdated and, well, cheap.  Most personal WordPress sites look better and are less generic.  For a man who like ‘the best’ it is an underwhelming experience.

What have we done?

Honestly, how in the world could the American people nominate Donald “I’m a fucking moron” Trump to be the Republican candidate?

He lies…constantly.

He will never release his tax returns.

He wants to change the articles of the Geneva Convention TO ALLOW TORTURE AND THE MURDER OF NONCOMBATANTS!

He is a racist, misogynist, bigot.

He wants to dismantle NATO.

He is a moron.

Again, he is a moron.

He has been bankrupt 4  6 times, a record in the United States.

He probably does not pay taxes (we will never know.)

He gives next to nothing to charity.

He makes fun of developmentally challenged, and the physical appearance of anyone whom he dislikes and acts like a child.

So, in the the end, why?  Seriously…why?  He is a horrible, horrible person I would not trust to park my car, no less run the most powerful and greatest nation on earth.

Why America?  WHY?????

Not even outraged #3

With the recent shootings in Orlando Dallas Baton Rouge, I don’t know why people are outraged. After Sandy Hook and the daily shootings in cities across America, why are people surprised and outraged?

The congress has been bought and paid for by the NRA for decades now. No one will stand up to them, or any other gun lobby, so we should just accept how this will be. Sucks, but it is the truth.

Unless the gun laws in the country change, this will keep happening. Creating concentration camps with Muslims won’t solve this. Creating a gestapo that removes 11,000,000 Latino won’t stop this. Common sense gun laws will. See Australia and the UK.

Next time this happens, and it will, I will copy and paste this post with new names.
