Little Glenn has be up all day. Thought newborns were supposed to sleep a lot.
Poor Tiff was run ragged today when I was at work. I took over for a few hours so she can finally get a nap in. It’s 10, and he is finally asleep. Who knows for how long?

Had Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Ron over to help with Glenn for a few hours today, for which we are very grateful. We were able to got to several stores and get errands done. I still really hate Walmart. The stores are terrible and dirty, the lines are long, and their prices on diapers and baby formula are higher than Target! The only reason we went there was becasue Grandma Judy bought 450 diapers from there, and they kinda sucked. We returned them bought a different brand. Wow, wasn’t that exciting reading?
Glenn is doing OK. I learned if you want to make him stop crying, you must not be angry yourself. He picks it up and starts crying harder.
I am amazed how much flash memory prices have dropped. You can get a 2 gig SecureDigital, 60x for 49.99! If I ever have some extra cash, I will pick some up for my Zaurus.
Little Glenn is doing well. The Grandparents came over last night to say hi. They bought some tasty ice cream as well, so that was nice. Glenn is well over 10lbs now. He is starting to make weird little noises that sound like the beginnings of vowel sounds. Every day he is bigger and getting stronger.
We finally gave up on trying to print our own photos at home. Maintaining an inkjet printer is like trying to drive on a leaky tire. It always needs attention, and if you don’t use it, it stops working. Inkjets (Canon and Epson) seem to last about 2 years before the print head dies. I already have a 6 year old laser printer that works fine, so now all the printing goes via the network to my printer. I have to hand it to the CUPS and SAMBA people, the software really works and allows Tiffany’s 2 XP laptops to interact with my Mandriva Linux desktop seamlessly. Printing over the wireless network is surprisingly fast, even over our still 802.11b network. Haven’t found a need to upgrade to a g network yet. Now we use CVS to print our photos. The price per print is quite a bit cheaper that us doing it ourselves.
Wow, I am glad the British police, MI5, etc are doing their jobs. God knows you would not want to trust the CIA or FBI to find a terrorist plot.
Well, the weekend is almost here and I am the last man left at work. Oh, joy.

Block Party
The yearly block party is in full swing right now. Looking at the average person on our block, I don’t think I am missing much. The baby is finally asleep after being up for about 10 hours strait.
My brother Ron’s blog has been down, so I am not sure how his interview went. He was down in Texas. I hope it went well. It seems like he likes it down there.
It’s a shame we have not been able to take better care of the pets with the baby here. Luckily, the Lizard has infinite patience, and the Bunny is getting somewhat used to less attention.
Mother in law is coming over tomorrow so we can get some sleep and get some errands done. She is heading back to work soon, so this
